Born in 1987 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He tried scuba diving for the first time in 2010 when he earned his Open Water Diver certification and fell in love with the activity. In such a way, that in 2013 he became a diving professional and changed his life. Turning his passion into his new career. Practicing as a professional in 3 different countries and continents. Thailand (on both coasts), Brazil, and South Africa. He is currently an Instructor Trainer at Pura Vida Pro. Apart from being an active ambassador for Salty Warriors, a non-profit organization for oceans and marine life conservation.

I am Cata, born near Barcelona and currently living in Koh Tao. Between comings and goings I have been here for 3 years.
I grew up by the sea and even before I knew how to swim well I was playing to touch the bottom of the pool holding my breath. My father taught me to snorkel and compensate the ears with 7 years, I dived for the first time in 2015.
I became a PRO in 2018 at Pura Vida Koh Tao, my home, where I trained and continued my career in diving. I have also worked in the Mediterranean, on the coast where I learned to love the sea, and in Oman.
Now I am back on Koh Tao, this small island that has stolen my heart. My two main drivers to stay in diving are people and conservation. People, because bringing people to discover the underwater world, a new hobby or even a new profession with the illusion and emotions that comes with it, makes me believe that everyone can find their purpose. And conservation because of the importance of taking care of our planet and our seas. We can only take care of what we know, so the more people love the sea, the more we want to protect it.

"Hi I'm Adri! My relationship with the ocean started later than I would like, since in León we only have cold and mountains, but since I was little I have always loved to spend hours snorkeling.
My first contact with diving was in 2017 doing the baptism on an island in Thailand called Koh Tao, does it sound familiar?
In 2021 I decided to leave everything in Spain and start my diving career. As of today I can say that I am a Dive Master Instructor and that I am passionate about my job!"
